cariboo
It is difficult to find speech and language games which allow Speech Language Pathologists to target multiple repetitions within a single activity which also are very simple to play.  Cariboo is a popular game for children with articulation disorders as well as neurological disorders such as Autism spectrum disorders.  The use of variable reinforcement as well as a larger reinforcement at the end of the game makes it almost the “perfect” therapy game.  Approximately 5-8% of the population is considered to have some sort of speech or language impairment.  The CDC is reporting the rate of autism at 1 in 68.  Cranium Cariboo is a game that will motivate both populations.  I think it’s time to bring it back on the market.
