Contract School Occupational Therapist/OT Job - Amarillo, TX

Our client is a Coop formed to support 10 school districts in the panhandle of Texas.   This professional group works hand-in-hand with the district staff, augmenting their ability to provide the highest quality of care to the kiddos they see.   Small districts + close knit communities + dedicated staff and leadership = SUCCESS!

This is a contract position for he remainder of the 2011-2112 School Year that ends the end of May 2012.   You would travel between 12 and 70 miles...but you would set your own schedule so that you would limit your travel as much as possible each day.   Have you always wanted a job that allowed you some time away from the classroom to recharge the battery and clear your head....well...THIS is your opportunity!   Our client has told us that the job could be accomplished in 2-3 days per week....but if you are looking for a full-time position...they will work with you.  Work hours would be 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM daily....so......NO NIGHTS, WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS!!!!!!   Caseload will vary....but you would service Pre-School through High School ages.   You would definitely have a variety of diagnoses to challenge you....with the kiddos ranging from mild to moderate to profound.....with most in the mild to moderate range.  

Qualifications for this position are that you have graduated from an AOTA Accredited college or university with a minimum of a bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.   You must hold a Texas License....or be eligible to obtain one.
