Contract School Occupational Therapist/OT - Plano, TX

[Job Abstract: School Based OT position; OT degree Required]

Our client is a specialized school, dedicated to providing the highest quality care to children affected by Autism. We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who can work one day per week (Friday) at our school for approximately 3 hours per week. There is a possibility for additional hours at parents expense. Caseload will include age ranges from 3-21 years of age with the most common condition being Autisms ranging from Mild to Severe. There is only one location...so you will not need to travel between facilities. All classes are centralized units and utilize inclusion model...but for more profound treatment, pullout can be used.

This position is for someone who can begin as soon as possible and carry on through next school year. As a Contract Therapist, you will be paid by the client for 3 hours per week....and then can pick up additional compensation from parents who are looking for individualized care for their kids. Qualifications: Must hold a Masters Degree (or grandfathered Bachelor's) in Occupational Therapy; and a current state license.
