Full time Adult/Pediatric Physical Therapist/PT - MATOON, IL

Three Physical Therapists are needed to join this health care facility in Mattoon, IL. Settings include hospital, long-term care facilities, clinics, and homes.
You would report to the Rehabilitation Services Director. New grads as well as seasoned therapists are welcome to apply.

Based on assessment and evaluation and as prescribed by appropriate clinical treatment orders, the therapist would provide individualized treatment for clients with needs for physical rehabilitation. You would also provide services and education of patients and significant others. Full benefits are provided.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

* 1. Bachelor or Master level Degree in Physical Therapy. Current Illinois PT licensure or eligibility.
* 2. Ability to independently perform tasks within scope of professional practice act and as needed for assigned position within the department based on level of training, experience and demonstrated competence, recognizing when to seek additional assistance.
* 3. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing to meet a variety of customer needs and expectations.
* 4. Ability to adapt to fluctuations in work pace and multiple demand work situations.
* 5. Current License in CPR.

Weekend and/or Holiday Rotation may be required.

Mattoon is located in East Central Illinois, the Bagel Capital of the World. Eastern Illinois University is in nearby Charleston which is a 320 acre campus with retention rates which are well above state and national averages.
