Itinerant School Based Occupational Therapist/OT - Anchorage, AK
EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS....
Our client seeks a part time Occupational Therapist based in either Alaska, Washington or Oregon. You'd travel for one week per month up to remote locations in AK to serve children who would otherwise go without treatment. All expenses would be paid including airfare and housing/hotel accommodations. Each month you would fly into Anchorage and be stationed there for one week. While there, you would take day trips to see your students. There will be a few times per year that you'd need to stay for two weeks and visit some additional locations.
If you've got good communication skills, like to travel, can adapt to new situations easily, and have a few years of OT experience under your belt, then apply today! Client pays day rate and all travel expenses are paid, benefits are also available through the state. You'll have the flexibility of making your own schedule as well as designated travel days and in home office days. You can be based anywhere in AK with jet service, but Juneau or Anchorage is preferred.
