Outpatient Pediatric Occupational Therapist/OT - Shelton, CT
Our client offers pediatric therapy in an outpatient clinic as well as in early intervention settings. They treat children (primarily with orthopedic, developmental delays and Autism) from ages birth - 12. We are searching for an occupational therapist to work in an outpatient setting. The clinic is open until 8 p.m., so some evening hours will be required. The clinic's busiest times are after school and early evening. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists. Therapeutic intervention may include sensory integration, gross and fine motor coordination, perceptual motor development and self-care training. Adaptive equipment, assistive technology and orthotics may also be used as part of the treatment sessions. This is a direct hire position that will begin as soon as possible. Qualifications: Must hold a Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy (or grandfathered as a BS) ; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
