Part time Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist/SLP Job - Palatine, IL
Here's an amazing opportunity to work as a Speech Language Pathologist with a pediatric population. Our client is located near Palatine and operates a therapeutic day school for children that have a range of disorders and who are part of a residential day program. Eighty percent of the kids are on the autism spectrum. Our client seeks a licensed SLP with 1-2 years (or more!) experience to join their team part time about 10-12 hours a week, with the possibility of increased hours as new students are identified. Previous pediatric experience, especially with children on the spectrum and children with DD are preferred. Current license a must. Flexible work schedule and strong interpersonal skills are also needed. This is a great opportunity to work with a dedicated group of individuals, to grow as a therapist and to work with a well respected organization.
Initial contract rates are $35-45 an hour. Direct hire option available and salary is commensurate with experience. Qualifications: Must hold a Masters degree in Communication Sciences; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
