Pediatric Home Health Physical Therapist/PT - Houston, TX
EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS....
Flexibility and independence are the key words for this brand new opening. Our client is a well established and reputable home health agency in Houston, TX. They seek an experienced Physical Therapist to join their team. They've been servicing the Houston Metro area for 13 years and provide therapy to over 350 patients in the area. Team is made up of about 60 therapists running full caseloads. The majority of their patients are Medicaid insured. You'd be working in a small geographical area so driving is limited to between 5 and 15 minutes between patients.
They would prefer candidates with a minimum of 2 years experience. Their philosophy is that they hire professionals and treat them that way. You are in charge of setting your schedule and managing your caseload. Full caseloads run about 25 visits per week with higher per visit rates for anything above. Paperwork is usually lighter than a clinic or hospital setting and completed on site then mailed in or submitted through a 24 hour drop box at office location. Meetings are infrequent but occasional supervisory visits and co-treats are more common.
Benefits for full time include professional liability insurance, health, dental, 3 weeks paid time off, 7 paid holidays, $600 in continuing ed, and a 401(k) package. Per visit rates range from $58-80.
Qualifications: Must hold a Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
