Pediatric School Occupational Therapist/OT Job - Crystal Lake, IL

Our client is a specialized school in the northern suburbs of Chicago serving children ages 3-12 with Autism, Developmental Delays or other health impairments. They utilize several different types of modalities to help each child reach their fullest potential. They seek an Occupational Therapist with pediatric experience or a strong new grad with pediatric clinicals to join their team on a  direct hire basis. Experience with autism is a must! Sensory integration certification a plus. Students are verbal and nonverbal.  You'd be working in a supportive environment with a multi-disciplinary team that has the kids' best interests at heart.  The caseload is small, but all of the children are on the autism spectrum. 

The position is full time and you're done most days by 4pm.   This position is a year round position.  You're paid for all days that the school is closed which equates to about 8 weeks over the course of a year!  After 90 days you begin to accrue another week of vacation.  Our client offers health, vision, and dental insurance.  It's a PPO plan with a major provider.  They also have a 401(k) plan and offer a life insurance policy as well as liability insurance.

Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
