School Based Occupational Therapist Assistant/COTA - Sonora, CA
EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS....
Our client is a county school system in a beautiful mountainous area of Central California. We are in need of a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for K-12 for the 2009/2010 SCHOOL year. You would work with ages 3 - 18 and assist with the caseload among 3 schools and work with an existing occupational therapy staff. All three schools are within 10 miles of each other; travel is reimbursed. The hours would be 7.5 per day 5 days per week These are very supportive schools with good working conditions, great administrative support and a strong team of therapists who work well together. They are a professional staff which strives to use best practices and the latest innovations. People love this community. The school system uses a web based system for IEPs and there is clerical assistance for scheduling.
Qualifications: Must have an Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy and hold a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
