School Based Physical Therapist/PT - Cincinnati, OH
Our client is a school district located about 20 minutes from Cincinnati, just over the Ohio/KY border. We are searching for a physical therapist to work with school aged children - mostly in grades K-6. We will consider full time or part time applicants for this 09/10 school year contract position. Some of the responsibilities for the position include:
Implement and document therapy programs and use special equipment including positioning, exercise, developmental motor programs, ambulation, and functional lifetime activities.
Complete evaluations.
Consultation with school personnel concerning implementation and monitoring of existing IEP and Educational program.
Gather, organize, and report assessment data.
Manage equipment, schedule, workplace, and therapy files.
Ability to work within a team work concept.
Maintain student confidentiality both in and out of the school setting.
Work cooperatively and respectfully with all other staff members.
Ability to carry out other responsibilities as assigned and needed for efficient functioning of the classroom.
Some travel between schools may be required .
Qualifications: Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
