School Based Speech Language Pathologist/SLP - Gastonia, NC
EXCEPTIONAL STUDENTS DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS....
This school is located southwestern edge of the state of North Carolina. This area has a quiet pace of a small community, located at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains--centered between Charlotte and Asheville. It's close to the action, but far from the crowd. Moderate climate typical of the Carolinas. We are seeking a Contract Speech Language Pathologist to end the 08/09 School year with the option to extend to SY09/10. This is a K5 School, so 5 years through 11 years old. Some makeup testing needs to be done. Only 15 in the caseload now, but time will be mixed with some interventions and assessments. Will take a part time or full time SLP.
Qualifications: Must hold a Master's Degree in either Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.
