School Based Speech Language Pathologist/SLP - Lexington, NC
EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS....
Our client is a public school system between Charlotte and High Point, North Carolina. This is a position for the therapist that wants the stability and security of a permanent or direct-hire situation. The district is centrally located near the exciting Nascar speedway, shopping, attractions, culture. There's much to do and explore. The icing on the cake is the school system itself with the focus on quality education. We are seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist for elementary (grades K-5) and intermediate populations (grades 7-8). Inclusion and pullout methods apply with very manageable caseloads. Populations include some ID moderate and severe, one self-contained classroom, and regular education. The position is 8 hours a day/180 days a year. Holidays, Paid time off including accrued vacation and sick leave are above the base salary schedule. Bonus pay is offered before the two breaks--Winter and Summer and there are incentives for longevity.
In addition to all the above, we have the support system in place to supervise the CFY applicants.
Qualifications: Must hold a Master's Degree in either Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders; a current state license (or eligible).
