School Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist/SLP Job - Houston, TX
EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN DESERVE EXCEPTIONAL THERAPISTS....
Our Client is a wonderful school system working with a Pediatric Population and located on the Southeast side of Houston....just minutes from downtown, NASA, wonderful shopping and restaurants...but most of all....warm weather of this prime location. We are currently looking for a Bilingual (Spanish speaking) Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join this professional team for the remainder of the 2011-2012 School Year....and beyond. This opportunity will begin as soon as possible and last until the middle of June 2012. You will be joining one of the best teams in the Houston area....working is a progressive school district. Your exact assignment will not be determined until later in this school year....but we know we will need to add several new team members for next school year. You would be working as a contractor through our company for the entire school year...and very possibly beyond if you so desire! We have had several contractors with this school district....and one even convinced her husband to relocate so that she could stay in this district after they got married!!!
Caseloads are varied and conservative, with age populations ranging from Pre-K through High School. You will have plenty of support and mentorship in this "team-oriented" school district. We have had therapists working with this district for years....and they absolutely love it here! Why not be close to Houston....the warm beaches of South Texas...in the middle of everything!
To qualify for this position, you Must hold a Master's Degree in either Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders; a current state license (or eligible) if applicable. "Bilingual Skills" are a requirement for this position!
Compensation ranges between $41.75 - $45.85 an hour...based on experience. Good benefits...including a 401k! Relocation/Travel Assistance. CEU Reimbursement , Completion Bonus and more.
