Speech Language Pathologists work hand-in-hand with the classroom teachers to provide assessment, develop Individual Education Plans, provide hands-on treatment, and follow-up to the students of this wonderful district. You will join a very enthusiastic team of professionals who are dedicated to their profession....striving daily to make a difference in the lives of the kids they touch. We are looking to add a Speech-Language Pathologist to our team for the remainder of the 2011-2012 School Year beginning in January...and hopefully beyond!  This position would be working with elementary aged kids and will begin in January 2011 and end  June 2012. You would be able to work a 40 hour work-week.  Caseload is @ 55 students.  You wold be responsible for testing, therapy and ARDS.  There is a bilingual SLPA that assists with bilingual students....so there would be some supervision involved.

Qualifications for this position is that you must have a Master's Degree from an ASHA approved institution. Valid Texas license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the State Board of Examiners for Speech Language Pathology and Audiology (or be eligible to obtain one). Cs required for this position as some supervision of an SLPA is involved!
