School Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist/SLP Job - Goliad, TX
Our clients is a Special Education Cooperative located just South of San Antonio that support the Special Services of 10 School Districts. This opportunity would be working with 4 of these districts, supervising 2 SLPAs in providing Speech-Language Services to the children of these districts. This is a "full-time" position,and requires that the SLP have their CCCs...and be eligible to supervise the SLPAs.
The yearly calendar includes 202 days....with the option of working "part-time" during the Extended School Year to service students who are required to attend. Extra compensation will be added for those duties! Start date would be the second week of August...and run through the first week of June...with the actual dates vary slightly due to each districts school calendar. You would mostly be working with elementary students, with a few older students in the mix. Most of your work would be with general articulation and language development...however, there will be a minimum number of autistic students as well. This position would require someone who understands the school service model, which will include completing IEPs and attending IEP/ARD Meetings and completing the appropriate paperwork.

Mileage will be paid between campuses. Your actual salary would be determined after the initial interview...and based on your years of experience. BILINGUAL SKILLS WOULD BE A HUGE ASSETT AND COMPENSATED FOR!
To qualify for this position, you MUST have your Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, have obtained your CCCs by ASHA...and have at least 3 years of experience. This is a requirement due to ASHA guidelines of supervising SLPAs. A Texas License is also required.
