School Speech Language Pathologist/SLP - Monterey, CA

Our client is a school district in Monterey County. We are seeking a part time Speech Language Pathologist 3 days a week to begin now through December 2010 and/or 5 days a week from January through mid-March.

Qualifications: MS in Communication Sciences, a current state license (or eligible) if applicable.

School Contract Speech Language Pathologist/SLP - Houston, TX

Our client is a public school district on the West Side of Houston, looking to add several Speech Pathologist to their team for the 2010-2011 School Year. Come join this team of professionals, dedicated to providing the very best special care to their students. They are looking to add several new Speech Pathologist servicing their elementary and middle school ages. We are also looking to add a "Spanish Speaking SLP to our Early Childhood Evaluation Team! Caseload will be approximately 42 students with a variety of diagnoses. You will be providing a service model that allows for "inclusion" for language and "pull out" for speech therapy. Most positions are on one campus....NO travel involved, while a few may require a short commute between campuses.

As stated earlier, this position is for the 2010-2011 School Year, beginning NOW and continuing until June 2011. You will be working a 37.5 hour work-week in a school setting. This position can be either contractor through PediaStaff, or as an employee of the district. Houston is a great place to live and work! Living in a "mid-urban" community, you are in close proximity to the arts, museums, theatre, and the zoo. Just a short day trip gets you to the beaches in the Galveston area, the shops in Spring, TX, or many other variety of locations. To qualify for this position, you should have been awarded your Clinical Competency (CCCs) by ASHA, or be in the process of awarding . You should have your Texas License...or be eligible to obtain one.

Compensations for this position is: Contract - $39 - $44 an hour, based on experience. Salary as an employee of the school district will be determined by our client after interviewing...but is based on degree level...and years of experience.
