Colourful Semantics and Speech-Language.org - featured April 22, 2010
< Back to Previous PageThis week's Therapist Resource of the Week was suggested by a new friend of ours, Glenn Carter. Glen has started a nice website for UK based SLPs (on that side of the pond they are called SLTs) called Speech-Language.org.
"Colourful Semantics" is the name of the program. Here is Glenn's description:
"My favourite and from my clinical experience one of the most effective ways to improve children's spoken expressive language skills is 'Colourful Semantics'. It was originally devised by Alison Bryan and it is an excellent way of improving sentence length & complexity, vocabulary and range of verbs. It can be easily adapted to develop children's written language."
Visit Speech-Language.org and Learn More About Colourful Semantics, HERE
