Seems so obvious, yet there may be only one in the country. It's at the Clinton Inn Hotel in Tenafly, and it's called the Alpine Suite, Staff Writer Bob Groves reported. It opened a few weeks ago.
Tony Morreale, the hotel's manager, came up with the idea. His son has autism, and traveling with him is difficult. So Morreale created the kind of accommodation parents of children with autism would want — furniture with rounded corners, décor that cannot be moved and an alarm on the door to alert grownups if a child tries to leave.
