Full Time School-Based Job Opportunity for the remainder of the 22-23 school year with option to extend or you can start in fall if you’re committed for this year. This position is with a charter school in the city of Chicago. Previous school based experience preferred, fieldwork counts.  

This position encompasses two schools:

*The three day portion is a K-12 building, most kids that are seen directly are K-5, one middle school student and all high school students are consult only
*Total caseload is about 45, with 15 direct students and 30 consult only
*Location is near Marquette Park
*Range of dx include ADHD, developmental delay, or skills deficits
*You’ll work on sensory processing, visual motor and fine motor skills, attention, and student accommodations
*Position is 24 hours per week, 3 days
*There is another OT there to train and answer questions

*The two day portion is at a k-8 school is the Austin neighborhood of Chicago
*Caseload details are similar to above, with fewer students

 Qualifications: You will need to hold a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy and a current state license (or be eligible for same).
