Early Intervention Occupational Therapist – OT

Location : Harker Heights, TX
Salary : $70000-$75000/year

Are you an Occupational Therapist seeking a new opportunity in the vicinity of NW Austin, Texas? We have a new opportunity with the birth-3 set in Early Childhood Intervention. This position is located in the towns surrounding Fort Hood military base: Harker Heights, Belton, Killeen and Temple. 

* You’ll work independently with children and families in the area in need of early intervention services
* Screening and evaluation tools will be available to you for therapeutic interventions. Documentation of visits will be completed in a timely manner according to guidelines set for by state of Texas
* You will provide advanced family training, home visits, therapeutic instructions, and other support–this includes support to parents and staff on activities and strategies to encourage the child’s development and to provide specific therapeutic techniques to children 0 – 3 with developmental delays, using the coaching model of service delivery.
* The productivity requirement is to deliver a minimum of 75-80 hours of direct services each month. During months that service providers do not have the target amount of service planned the performance requirement will be 80% of planned services delivered.
*You’ll need reliable transportation to be successful. You’ll travel within the area serving your caseload.
