Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Special Education
Expert IEP writing and mentoring skills
3 years or more classroom experience
- Must have: Currently hold a Colorado teaching license effective through the end of the school year or have a licensure application in process (must upload license or have in process documentation for application).
- We cannot sign TTE.
Role Overview:
Special Education Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering effective instruction per students’ individual learning needs, developing and authoring compliant Individual Education Plans, and providing seamless collaboration with general education, families, paraeducators and other special education providers. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

· Hours: Full Time-8 hours a day, 7.5 paid and 0.5 unpaid lunch
· In-person only
· Caseload: No direct responsibility, varies by school, will work directly with classroom teacher who is case manager
Key Responsibilities:
Job Description-Must Have:
Observes students then creates materials and systems around behavior/academic strategies.
Some direct push in support in a building or two
Ability to work with other adults and answer their questions related to academic and behavior support
Rotates buildings daily, schedule will be as follows (8 hours a day, 7.5 paid, .5 unpaid lunch):
Will be going to a new school everyday.
