PediaStaff is looking for Occupational Therapists who are interested in doing home visits in Santa Clara County, CA.  This is part-time hours with full-time availability Mon – Fri and clinic hours are 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM.  The Occupational Therapist will work with Early Intervention (ages 0 – 3) which requires parent consults and evaluations requiring the therapist to go to family homes and meet with the parents – at this time there are really no treatments but writing reports and teaching parent training.  Treatments will be part of this position at a later date. 

Job description: 
*  Travel is in Santa Clara County / Silicon Valley –  must be in person
*  The Occupational Therapist must work at least 10 hours per week
*  They have 10 children now and if someone wants a full-time position it may possibly take up to 2 months to get to full-time
*  This position is a portion of their ABA services and Whole Child is their program
*  Each home visit is approximately a one-hour long session every other week and the Occupational Therapist will create 2 reports, one at 30 days and another every 6 months
*  The Occupational Therapist will support the case manager and Direct Service Providers (DSPs) within their respective field of practice
*  Implement goals and objectives based on the area of expertise/competence of the OT to support the implementation of IFSP/IPP goals

Qualifications: You will need to have a Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy and a current state license (or be eligible for same).
