2019-20 School-Based Occupational Therapist - OT - Anchorage, AK

Pediatric Occupational Therapists: we are currently accepting applications for the 2019-2020 School Year for positions throughout Alaska. Full-time contract positions are currently available in Anchorage, Alaska. Interviewing now! Timeline: You can expect to begin the process with us now, and your contract should finalize between April and July. The ten month contract will start late summer to early fall according to the school calendar and go through the 2019-20 school year. Pay is hourly and competitive. Top Rate varies +/- based on experience and taxable status. School-based experience is preferred.  

*  The caseloads are primarily mainstream with diagnoses such as developmental delays, sensory issues, ASD and birth defects
*  Previous school system experience (fieldwork) as a Occupational Therapist is a plus but not required
*  Familiarity with the IEP process is also helpful
*  You'll receive plenty of support from the team whether you need assistance getting settled or with your job duties; Alaskans work as a team!
*  Caseloads may include EI/EC, and/or pre-K through 12th grade and will be based on school district needs along with your strengths and desires.

 Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy and a current state license (or be eligible for same).
