Director of Performance Improvement - RN - Washington, DC

We are seeking a Director of Performance Improvement for a children's specialty hospital in Washington, DC, that provides services to children from infancy through age 21 in inpatient and outpatient settings. This family-centered medical facility provides a variety of therapy services to meet the child’s needs.

* The Director of Performance Improvement develops, maintains, and evaluates all aspect of the organization to enhance performance /quality improvement (PI), in collaboration with management.  
* The Director of Performance Improvement develops and implement strategies to ensure the delivery of quality health care and services.
* Works collaboratively with the Management Team Inclusive of the Clinical Educator/Reviewer to assist the organization in achieving the desired outcomes, minimizing and /or mitigating risk. 

Qualifications: Must be a licensed RN and needs a Master’s degree. Current DC Licensure and Maryland Licensure. Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating clinical QI/PI initiatives Three (3) to five (5) years of professional clinical experience. Must have a working knowledge of Community based practice, Home Care.Familiar regulatory compliance, CMS/DOH/DHMH.
