Outpatient Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist / SLP - Statesboro, GA

PediaStaff is interviewing now for selected outpatient and early intervention pediatric therapy jobs.   For 14 years, our trusted clients have looked to PediaStaff to help them serve special needs children.   Now they are relying on us more than ever, to make sure their young clients have access to all the services they deserve.

With that in mind, please consider this opening we are currently looking to fill with a quality therapist like you:

Join us in Statesboro, Georgia--only one hour to Savanna in the south.  We are seeking two Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists for a private pediatric clinic in Statesboro GA that has been in practice for about 12 years.  The bulk of the job is basic - treating a lot of children with autism.
The Speech-Language Pathologist must obtain credentialing with the different insurance companies, with Medicaid generally being the easiest to get credentialling.  Therapists need provider #'s (this applies only for private practice) which takes about 3 months to get credentialed and it is possible for a therapist to start work on a small scale working part-time through Medicaid 10 - 20 hours then eventually to full-time.
We may consider a strong new grad, but we really need a strong Speech-Language Pathologist - we may consider 1 new grad & a senior SLP.  We have mentorship for a new graduate.

*  The Speech-Language Pathologist will work a full-time caseload consisting of 30 minutes sessions usually 8 - 14 children per day in a very fast-paced environment with some very medically involved children
*  35 - 40 hours per week - a lot of therapists like to work 4 - 10 hour days and the clinic closes at noon on Fridays
*  The Speech-Language Pathologist will be paid on the billable number of sessions per day
*  The clinic has a Sensory Gym and a Swimming Pool for Aquatic Therapy
*  One on one treatment in the clinic with all electronic medical records and the support staff does all the non-clinical duties.  SLP's collaborate with OT & PT's
*  Feeding & swallowing is not a requirement, they have other therapists with that skill
*  This is a direct not contract position with benefits, retirement plan and flexible schedules -  you don't have to clock in at certain times
*  You will be valued as a therapist and the client is well respected in the market for providing quality therapy

Qualifications: You will need to hold appropriate Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology, and a current state license (or be eligible for same).
