Pediatric Occupational Therapist - OT - Downers Grove, IL

*  Monday - Friday from 8:00 - 5:30 or Monday - Thursday (10 hours/day)
*  Various diagnoses including but not limited to sensory processing disorders, Down Syndrome, ASD, Dyspraxia, muscle weakness, neurological disorders, orthopedic disorders
*  Monthly EI training


- Conduct occupational therapy and evaluations and provide detailed written reports

- Schedule and plan individualized treatment sessions for children

- Provide evaluations/treatment in our facility and in children's' homes

- Discuss progress with caregivers and offer suggestions for carryover at home

- Create and update treatment plans with detailed goals and benchmarks

- Create, organize, and maintain a unique sensory-friendly environment for our clients

- Provide coaching and in-service training for parents/caregivers, staff, and students regarding evidence-based practice, research, and trends in occupational therapy

- Participate in professional development team meetings and continuing education opportunities

- Maintain Illinois license, with appropriate continuing education hours

- Represent the company at occasional community events

- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited university
- Current Illinois license
- Minimum TWO YEARS pediatric occupational therapy experience
- Illinois Early Intervention credential
- MUST have extensive experience working with children who have sensory processing disorders
