Pediatric Occupational Therapist - OT - St. Lucie, FL

Are you an Occupational Therapist licensed in the state of Florida?   Do you already have a Medicaid number?  Are you looking to live where the surf meets the sand?  If you answered YES to these three questions, then consider this excellent opportunity with a well-regarded and therapist-owned pediatric practice along the Treasure Coast of eastern Florida.   

* The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will treat a wide variety of diagnoses in three different settings - Preschool, Outpatient and Private School
* 50% of Head Start Preschool - Autism, Speech-Language Delays, Sensory Processing Disorder, Torticollis, etc.   
* 40% Outpatient - About 2/3 Birth to Five and 1/3 School Age.  Sensory Gym is being built now, and a climbing wall is in the plan!
* 10% Private School - Older kids (3rd to 8th grade with a variety of disabilities 
*  As part of a team of 17-20 Independent Contractors you will have wide flexibility in your schedule.  Work late or work early, it's up to you!
* You can choose to work full-time or part-time
*  Full-time therapists receive one full day of built-in time for paperwork
* Full-time caseload is 32 hours a week presently.  You may add additional hours as more units are available but will not be required to.  
* You will be a 1099 employee.  This is not a benefitted position, however, supplemental AFLAC insurance is available for purchase
 * Hourly rate is $50.00 payable in units of 15 minutes.  Most sessions are 60 minutes. 
* There will be no travel between the locations mid-day, and therefore no need for mileage reimbursement  

You will need to hold a Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy, a current Florida license and be in possession of an active Medicaid number
