Pediatric Physical Therapist - PT - Baytown, TX

PediaStaff is interviewing now for selected outpatient and early intervention pediatric therapy jobs.   For 14 years, our trusted clients have looked to PediaStaff to help them serve special needs children.  

Now they are relying on us more than ever, to make sure their young clients have access to all the services they deserve.     With that in mind, please consider this opening we are currently looking to fill with a quality therapist like you:

New opening for a Physical Therapist to work in an outpatient clinic on the west side of Baytown, TX. This position will start part time and build to full time. New grads with pediatric rotations will be considered. This is a great position for a Physical Therapist interested in treating multiple age groups. 

* You'll treat a variety of ages including primarily pediatrics with some adult patients, too
*  CORF accredited
*  You'll need good time management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Previous experience in pediatrics a must, fieldwork will be considered!
* Diagnoses vary and can include congenital, genetic or neurological diagnosis
* You'll occasionally perform pre-work job screens and functional capacity evaluations
* Client base may also include 21+ years of age
* We provide one-on-one therapy sessions.  
* Most treatments are in 30 minute increments with evals longer in length
* Previous experience a plus, but there are other therapists on staff to assist with training
* Hours are 8-6 M-TH and 8-12 noon on Friday

* You'll serve on a team to provide comprehensive team evaluations
* You'll complete occupational therapy evaluations, reassessments, develop plans of care,  and deliver  therapy services both land based and aquatic based
* Possible oversight of PTA

Qualifications: You will need to hold a Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Physical Therapy and a current state license (or be eligible for same). Pediatric experience preferred, this can include a recent fieldwork or pediatric rotation as part of your graduate school program.

Pay: $70000-$88000/year
