Pediatric RN Clinical Manager - Washington, DC

We are seeking a Pediatric RN Clinical Manager for a children's specialty hospital in Washington, DC, that provides services to children from infancy through age 21. This family-centered medical facility provides a variety of therapy services to meet the child’s needs including home health.

* Clinical Manager is a leadership position responsible for supervising and/or directing all clinical services, overseeing the determination of client eligibility for services and has a service philosophy that accepts as a goal that while home care is preferred to inpatient care, family care is the preferred care unless clinically inappropriate.
* Clinical Manager must be willing to work with referral sources to transition clients to the lowest level of appropriate care.
* Clinical Manager will have the responsibility of handling client, family, and provider grievances, managing them into the organizational oversight process, will be a liaison to the referral sources and coordinate clinical goals for business units with the goals of the organization.

Qualifications: The Clinical Manager must be a registered nurse with a BSN or master’s preferred and a current State of Maryland license (or be eligible for same). Current CPR Certification. The Clinical Manager must have at least 3 years experience in pediatrics with 2-3 years of experience in Home Health care and 5 years of supervisory experience. Experience with client education is a must. Familiarity with Medicaid regulations and computer literacy. Must be familiar with the Maryland COMAR regulations for Residential Service Agencies. Familiar with IDC9/10 codes, CPT codes, and HCPCS
