School Psychologist - Petaluma, CA

PediaStaff is seeking a School Psychologist for SY 19-20 in Petaluma, located 32 miles north of San Francisco in the Sonoma County Wine Country. It gets its claim to fame from its prime location and beautiful scenery, which has been chosen for many major films over the years including American Graffiti, Basic Instinct, and Pleasantville and The Tree of Life. The city's well-preserved historic center and the Petaluma River create visual appeal. 

*  School Psychologist assignment is from mid-August 2019 until June 2020; 7 Hour days / 5 days a week
*  4 days at the Junior High School and 1 day at a Waldorf type school, K-8. Mainly junior high and some elementary
*  The caseload will be about 60 or so tri's and about 10 - 15 initials 
*  Excellent pay rate and benefits offered
*  Ending Assignment Accrued Paid Leave Bonus (If not used during the assignment)

Qualifications: You will need to have a School Psychologist Credential: PPS Credential, and a current state license (or be eligible for same)

Petaluma has a wonderful downtown area with a lot of charm, wonderful restaurants, antique shops, gift shops and other things to see. Petaluma river adds charm to the downtown area. The community is friendly and there are many young families. Parks, fields for soccer and baseball and schools. Festivals downtown, a wonderful Veterans Day parade and Eggs & Butter Day parade that is full of fun and so many come out to enjoy and gather. Only 30 minutes from the beach!
