An article in Scientific American reports that a study published this week in the Journal Science shows that many adults with Asperger's who cannot spontaneously anticipate another person's state of mind can still correctly guess it when given a simple verbal prompt to. Although this study concentrated on adults, the findings may hold valuable lessons for those who work with children with Asperger's Syndrome as well.
