Program Brings Kids with Learning Disabilities and Autism out of their Shells

The Jefferson Parish School System is expanding a program designed to bring autistic and learning disabled children out of their shells.

Parents say it's made all the difference in children who could hardly communicate months ago, and the program is now getting national exposure as well.

One year after FOX 8 aired a story about the broadcast team at Grace King High School, a speech therapy program using microphones and cameras has now expanded to two more schools.
