Qualifications: 

  • Master's Degree in Educational Psychology and/or School Psychology
  • Approval by the Michigan Department of Education as a School Psychologist
  • 750 hour internship in School Psychology

Role Overview:
A School Psychologist assists students with academic, social, and emotional well-being and works with students and families to promote student success.  The School Psychologist is a critical member of the IEP team and is relied upon to provide insight and guidance to the team regarding student academic and behavioral functioning.

Job Details:   

  • Dates: ASAP-June 3rd, 2026
  • Schedule:  5 days/week, 7 hours/day
  • Travel between different schools close in proximity is a possibility
  • In-person only

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as a member of the multidisciplinary evaluation team and assists in the comprehensive assessment of students suspected of having a disability as outlined in the Michigan Administrative Rules for Special Education. 
  • Collaborate with local district administrators and school-based leadership teams on MTSS activities.  This includes participation in problem-solving teams and requires knowledge of data collection and analysis, curriculum-based assessments and tiered systems of interventions.   
  • Support staff in identifying and using researched-based instructional practices.
