Qualifications: 

  • High School Degree or Equivalent
  • RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with behavioral needs preferred
  • Previous experience working in schools preferred

Role Overview:
A 1:1 school certified behavior technician works directly with a student to implement individualized behavioral treatment plans, collecting data on progress and assisting in skill development for communication, social, and self-help skills. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:   

  • Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8:30am- 3:00pm
  • Dates: ASAP- 6/10/2026
  • Setting:  Life Skills class
  • Caseload: 1 student 
  • In-person only

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide individualized support to a single student, working to improve communication, social, and play skills. 
  • Follow and execute specific behavior acquisition and reduction protocols designed by a BCBA. 
  • Teach student new skills and help them manage challenging behaviors to increase independence. 
  • Collect, record, and summarize observable client behaviors to track progress and identify trends. 
  • Effectively communicate client progress and any issues to parents, caregivers, and the supervising BCBA.
