Qualifications: 

• You will need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a current Illinois Registered Nurse License 
• Preference is one year school based experience and knowledge of working with pediatrics

Role Overview:
The School Based Nurse (LPN) position involves providing dedicated 1:1 care to student during transport to and from afternoon classes. The role focuses on essential nursing tasks such as monitoring/addressing seizures, positioning, assistance with classroom tasks, ensuring the student's health and safety during transportation.  

Job Details:   

• Schedule:   Full time M-F
• Dates:  January 5th – end of school year
• Hours: approximately 8am – 230pm daily; M-F (includes bus to and from school accompanying student)
• Setting: school
• If student is sick, the nurse will assist the building nurse for the day as to not miss hours for the day.
• In-person 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Provide 1:1 nursing care to a pre-K student. 
• Responsibilities would include monitoring/addressing seizures, positioning, assistance with classroom tasks, changing/diapering, feeding female three year old student.
• Ensure safety during bus rides to and from school.
