We're currently seeking a dedicated Licensed School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to support elementary students in the Houston, TX area for the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year.  Pay range up to $41 per hour.

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelors Degree in Communication Disorders or Speech Pathology 
  • TX SLPA license 
  • School Experience required 

Role Overview:
As an SLPA, you will assist speech-language pathologists in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting. You will also implement speech and language programs or activities as planned and directed by speech-language pathologists for students. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.
 
Job Details: 

  • Dates: ASAP through June 22, 2026
  • Setting: High School
  • In-person only 
  • Part time Hours, 20 hours per week, can be flexible with Days and Start and End times

Key Responsibilities:  

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screening as directed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist.
  • Implement the treatment program or the individual education plan (IEP) as designed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist.
  • Work with classroom teachers to implement classroom activities to improve communication skills of students.
  • Create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for maturity level and interests of students.
