Qualifications:

• You will need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Current Illinois LPN License 
• Preference is one year school based experience and knowledge of working with pediatrics

Role Overview:

The School Based Nurse (LPN) position involves providing dedicated 1:1 care to student during transport to and from afternoon classes. The role focuses on essential nursing tasks such as monitoring/addressing seizures, positioning, assistance with classroom tasks, ensuring the student's health and safety during transportation.  

Job Details:

• Schedule: Part time – 20 hrs/week – can be flexible
• Dates: Immediate need – end of school year
• Hours: approximately 8:25 AM – 2:55 PM  
• Setting: school nurse position
• In-person  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Responsibilities would include all normal School nurse tasks
