We're currently seeking a part-time Pediatric Clinic Based Occupational Therapist – OT ($50-$60/hr) in the Rockville, MD area to work with clients from infants to young adults.  Join a fun & supportive, clinician-owned facility with mentorship and a focus on clinical quality!

Qualifications:  

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Passing grade on the National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy Exam
• 1+ years of providing OT services 
• Current MD OT license

Role Overview:   
The Occupational Therapist is responsible for occupational therapy services to supplement the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).  OT will work collaboratively with the supervising BCBA, as well as Speech Therapist and Behavior Therapist, in order for clients to receive comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:  

• Follow company policies and procedures. 
• Prepare and maintain accurate client records according to departmental guidelines. 
• Supervise occupational therapy assistants as needed. 
• Establish a plan of care for each client.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure proper billing and documentation.
• Safely use departmental equipment for client care. 
• Assess clients' home, community, and school environments, making adjustments to support skill generalization.
• Create rehabilitation programs to help clients regain fine motor skills. 
• Recommend and assist clients and caregivers with appropriate equipment for daily activities.
