Exciting Opportunity in the Lumberton, NC area: Pediatric Occupational Therapist – OT

We’re currently seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist ($31.25 – $38/hr, depending on experience) in the Lumberton, NC area. Experience all that Fayetteville has to offer! –Trail walking and lakes in the area, close to beach (Myrtle and Wilmington); weekend getaways are easy (Raleigh, Charlotte and Wilmington within 1.5 hours); Asheville (4 hours); Charleston (3 hours) and Outer Banks (4 hours)
 
Qualifications: 

• Must hold appropriate Degree in Occupational Therapy 
• North Carolina State license in Occupational Therapy
• At least 1 year of experience required with some pediatric experience – fieldwork will count as experience

Position Details:

• Clinic hours are typically 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Monday-Thursday, with flexibility from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• This position is a combination of patient care at the outpatient clinic, as well as in private and public elementary school settings – approximately a 50/50 mix.
• Caseload consists of a variety of disorders, mild to severe.
• Kids range in age from birth to about middle school age
• Will supervise COTAs 
• Possibility of travel to different schools depending on the availability of COTAs 
• In-person only

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess children’s motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions, helping them achieve developmental goals.
• Work closely with families and other specialists to create a supportive environment tailored to child’s unique needs
