We're currently seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist ($72000-$82000/year) in the Galveston County, TX area. Caseload will encompass a reasonable travel radius of Galveston County per your preferences and their available caseload. New grads welcome to apply!
Qualifications:
- Must hold a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Texas SLP License
- Seeking a candidate with their CCC but will consider strong new grads; supervision available on site
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Role Overview:
As an SLP, you will develop and implement treatment programs for students whose ability to communicate has been impacted by developmental differences, disabilities, or injuries. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.
Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-Time, Flexibility to meet your needs
- Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:00am-6:00pm, Fri 8:00am-noon
- Setting: Clinical Early Childhood Intervention Program
- Caseload: Birth to Three, Diagnoses vary from developmental delays, syndromes, autism
- Most treatments are in 30 minute increments with evals longer in length
- In-person only
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting evaluations to assess each child's unique communication strengths and weaknesses.
- Creating plans that implement measurable, achievable, and functional goals.
- Offering treatment to enhance communication abilities through various approaches.
- Working in a comprehensive care team to address a child's specific needs.
- Informing parents and families about available treatment options and the importance of early intervention.
