Qualifications: 

  • Short Term Approval, ELS Para or Substitute License from ISBE 
  • Meet the state requirements for Educator License with Stipulations endorsed for Paraprofessionals 
  • Experience working with special needs students or childcare experience preferred  

Role Overview:
As an Educational Support Aide, you will work alongside certified Special Education Teachers to assist in supporting students with diverse learning needs by implementing inclusive and personalized educational plans that help them thrive both academically and emotionally. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Job Details:   

  • Dates:  ASAP- 6/06/2026
  • Hours: 8:00am- 4:00pm 
  • Multiple postions,covering EC- 8th grade
  • In-person only

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assisting with classroom instruction and offering one-on-one or small group support to students with disabilities.
  • Helping to adapt educational materials and activities to meet the unique learning needs of students.
  • Observing and managing student behavior to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Keeping records of student progress and behavior, as well as assisting with classroom management.
  • Working with students who have various disabilities, including learning disabilities, autism, and emotional disturbances.
