Qualifications:
- Specific Degree – Master's Degree in Social Work
- Specific license – PEL or Professional Educator's License with School Social Work Endorsement
Role Overview:
As a School Social Worker, you'll provide critical support to students. You'll collaborate with another social worker to address students' social-emotional needs, develop intervention strategies, and support their academic success. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Full or part time – Daily hours are 7:45 am – 3:00 pm (with flexibility in that)
- Dates: August 20th – October 17th
- Setting: Elementary School
- Caseload: Small and manageable
- In-person only
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group social work services to students
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention plans
- Conduct assessments and maintain appropriate documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
