Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: Long-Term School Psychologist in the vicinity of Niles, IL.

We're currently seeking a dedicated School Psychologist ($55-$62/hr) to support Early Childhood students and middle school-age students in the Niles, IL area for the 2025-2026 school year.

Qualifications: 

  • Master's Degree in Psychology and a PEL with the School Psychology endoresement

Role Overview:
A School Psychologist assists students with academic, social, and emotional well-being and works with students and families to promote student success.  The School Psychologist is a critical member of the IEP team and is relied upon to provide insight and guidance to the team regarding student academic and behavioral functioning.

Job Details:   

  • Dates:  ASAP-April 10, 2026
  • Hours:  One school-7:45-2:55 and the other 8:15-3;35
  • Setting: Early Learning  and  a Middle School
  • Caseload:  Management of 504 plans (approximately 50 at the middle school) and some evals at the ELC 
  • In-person only

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the completion of initial and reevaluations of students with disabilities at both ELC and the Middle School

  • 504 plan manager for Middle School, including evaluations and facilitating 504 Review

  • Assist with the development of functional behavior analysis and behavior intervention plans

  • Collaborate with the social work team to complete the problem-solving process for academic and behavioral needs

  • Participate in the Multi-tier system of support process
