Qualifications: 

  • Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy
  • Physical Therapist Assistants Idaho License

Role Overview:
A Physical Therapist Assistant assists licensed physical therapists in providing care and treatment to children. Their main job is to execute therapy programs designed by the Physical Therapists, which aim to improve client's physical capabilities, like motor skills, strength, balance, and coordination. This includes instructing and assisting children and their caregivers in doing specific exercises or using certain equipment.

Position Details:

  • In-person only
  • Setting: Outpatient Clinic 
  • Caseload: birth to young adult

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the implementation of individual treatment plans
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based physical therapy services in a clinic setting.
  • Collaborating with physical therapists to provide rehabilitative care
  • Assisting licensed physical therapists in providing care and treatment
