Exciting Opportunity in the Lamar, CO area: Part-Time School Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

We're currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time School Pediatric Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant in the Lamar, CO area for the upcoming school year.
 
Qualifications: 

• Associate's Degree or Higher in Occupational Therapy 
• Colorado Department of Education Special Services Provider license
• Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) license 
• Valid Colorado driver’s license

Role Overview:
As a COTA, you will help students develop fine motor skills, adapt to physical or cognitive challenges, or access appropriate educational tools and techniques under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Position Details:   

• First Day of School is August 2, 2025  
• Part time is 15-20 hrs/week
• In-person 

Key Responsibilities:  

• Assist in the assessment of children's needs and abilities under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized therapy plans to improve childrens' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and coordination
• Educate parents and caregivers on how to help their children with daily activities.
• Develop strategies to help children with sensory processing issues.
