Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current IL SLPA license
  • Prefer experience with AAC, functional communication needs, speech sound disorders, & IEP paperwork

Role Overview:    
As an SLPA, you will assist speech-language pathologists in the assessment and treatment of speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in a school setting.You will also implement speech and language programs or activities as planned and directed by speech-language pathologists for students. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.  
 
Job Details:    

  • Schedule: Part-Time- 3 days/week
  • Dates: ASAP – 6/01/2026
  • Hours:  7:45am-3:15pm
  • In-person only 

Key Responsibilities:   

  • Conduct speech, language, and hearing screening as directed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist.
  • Implement the treatment program or the individual education plan (IEP) as designed by the supervising licensed speech-language pathologist.
  • Work with classroom teachers to implement classroom activities to improve communication skills of students.
  • Create an environment conducive to learning and appropriate for maturity level and interests of students.
