We're currently seeking a dedicated a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant – SLPA ($28-40/hour) to support pediatric clients of all ages in the Richmond, TX area, (Southwest side of Houston, TX).   

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications Sciences Disorders or Speech-Language Pathology 
  • Current TX Speech-Language Pathology Assistant license 
  • Bilingual a plus but not required 
  • Some pediatric experience highly preferred

Role Overview:
PediaStaff is seeking a skilled and passionate Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of our clinic, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and their families while enjoying a supportive and positive work environment.

Job Details:   

  • Hours: Clinic open 9am-7pm -Choices in work hours to suit you and your family's needs while also meeting the requests of their patients
  • Caseload: Children ages birth to 21 who need help to successfully meet the demands of childhood
  • Caseload includes articulation, feeding, social/emotional needs, fluency
  • Work with developmental delays, ASD, birth defects, and more

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work with assigned Speech-Language Pathologist to regularly monitor and document a child's progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Involve families in the therapy process, providing support and guidance to extend therapeutic gains into daily routines.
  • Work closely with other therapists and professionals within the clinic and community to provide integrated care and interdisciplinary support
  • Collaborate with assigned Speech-Language Pathologist regarding treatment provision.
