Exciting Opportunity in the Colorado Springs area: Home Health Pediatric Occupational Therapist

We're currently seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist in the Colorado Springs area to work a community-based opportunity. You will be joining a close-knit team of professionals passionate about working with children. 

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will provide skilled therapy services to children with a variety of diagnoses in their home environment. You will work closely with families, physicians, and a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans that support developmental goals and promote functional independence. Our mission is to support children and their families by providing exceptional, individualized therapy services in the comfort of their homes. We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to evaluate the child’s developmental level, functional status, and therapy needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and update goals in accordance with physician orders and family input.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services in the home, focusing on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, ADLs (activities of daily living), and other functional outcomes.
  • Collaborate with families to provide education, training, and strategies for carryover of therapy goals.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, and agency guidelines.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary care coordination and attend team meetings as needed.
  • Stay up to date with best practices and continuing education requirements.

Qualifications: Master's or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy, and a current state license (or be eligible for same)
