Qualifications: Must hold a Bachelors Degree (or higher) in Special Education and have the LBS1 certification. Autism experience preferred but not necessary.  Pediatric experience strongly preferred

* Seeking an LBS1 certified Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in the vicinity of Lisle, IL to work as a direct employee of the school!
* You will start on August 13th; School day is from 7:45am-3:45pm daily during the regular school year; 7:45-1:15pm during ESY; 
* Highschool caseload consisting of transition-aged students with a mix of profiles with your focus being on independent life skills
* Many of the students have higher maladaptive behaviors so someone who is comfortable and willing to work with students with higher needs 
* All have autism; caseload has a wide variety of sensory, social/emotional, functional and academic needs and abilities. 
* You will have a Para who will be your right-hand person daily and be the sub when you are out
* You'll work in a fast-paced environment using a multi-disciplinary team approach 
* Caseload is 8 students
* No travel/one school
